End User License Agreement (EULA)

Welcome to Dýrfinna („App“), provided to you by Dýrfinna („Company,“ „we,“ „us,“ or „our“). By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in this End User License Agreement („EULA“). If you do not agree to the terms in this EULA, you may not use Dýrfinna.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing or using the App, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by this EULA and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the App.
2. User-Generated Content (UGC)
a. Definitions: UGC includes all forms of content such as text, images, videos, and any other material that users post, upload, publish, submit, or transmit to be made available through the App.
b. Zero Tolerance Policy: Dýrfinna has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Objectionable content includes but is not limited to content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, pornographic, or that encourages violence or discrimination.
c. User Conduct: Users must comply with all applicable local and national laws and regulations and are solely responsible for the legality of their actions under Icelandic law.
3. Content Moderation
a. Filtering: Dýrfinna employs automated systems and/or human moderation to review UGC in order to filter objectionable content.
b. Reporting: Users may report objectionable content or abusive behavior through our in-app reporting tools or by contacting us at dyrfinna@dyrfinna.is.
c. Enforcement: We will act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours, which may include removing the content and/or taking appropriate actions against the user, such as account suspension or termination.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
a. Ownership: Users retain copyright of their UGC but grant Dýrfinna a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute the content within the App.
b. Infringement Claims: If you believe that any content infringes upon your intellectual property rights, you should notify us immediately at dyrfinna@dyrfinna.is.
5. Governing Law
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to This EULA
We may revise and update this EULA from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them.
8. Acknowledgement
BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
